Stephen Mackanic
M.S Sport Psychology
Certified Mental Performance Consultant (CMPC)
California born and raised, my early years were rooted in baseball, with time spent exploring hockey, swimming, and soccer. Eventually I ended baseball and I found my true connection to sport in the water, competing in swimming and water polo through high school and into the collegiate level.
That lifelong passion for athletics led me to earn a Master of Science in Sport Psychology from National University and build a career helping others strengthen their mental game. I currently am a mental performance consultant contractor, working with members of the USAF, where I support and teach them how to perform mentally in high-pressure, high-performance environments.
In addition to my work with the military, I provide virtual consulting to athletes across the country, spanning all levels of competition from youth and collegiate athletes to professionals in sports like MMA, baseball, tennis, swimming, and more. My goal is to help individuals sharpen their mindset, manage adversity, compete with confidence and see themselves progress not just from a physical and technical aspect but also notice how their mental game starts to impact and improve their daily performance.
